The foundation of the ICON from noblechairs is the powder-coated wheelbase made from solid aluminum with five arms and specially designed castors. These 60mm castors consist of a Nylon core with a polyurethane coating that allows them to be quiet and suited for hard and soft flooring. Combined with the Safety Class 4 gas lift, the ICON has been designed in conjunction with the optimized base to offer support for a maximum load of up to 150 kg (330 lbs).
Ich habe den Stuhl jetzt ziemlich genau ein Jahr! Man sitzt immer noch genauso gut drin wie am ersten Tag! Der Stuhl wird nicht fürs Gaming benutzt, sonder ist mein Daily Stuhl im Home Office! Auch nach über acht Stunden am Tag tut mein Rücken nicht weh, was bei anderen, sehr teureren Stühlen passiert ist! Ich bin 1,68 groß und fühle mich in dem Stuhl sau wohl! Das PU-Leder hat null Abrieb und sieht immer noch aus wie neu! Meine absolute Kaufempfehlung!
Ich habe den Stuhl bereits seit 2016 im intensiven Einsatz und habe mir diesen damals noch in der PU-Leder-Version und der Farbe "Schwarz/Rot" (die es scheinbar nicht mehr gibt???) erstanden. Ich habe mir den Stuhl damals zusätzlich mit der kürzeren Feder bestellt und diese bereits 5 Jahren, täglich, intensiv im Einsatz. (Die originale Feder liegt noch irgendwo ungebraucht im Abstellraum rum :)) Die Nähte, sowie das Leder sehen noch immer sehr hochwertig und wie neu aus. Es gibt kein Krachen oder Knacksen beim Wippen, der Sitzkomfort ist immer noch bei sehr langem Sitzen (>8h) SEHR HOCH und die Mechanik der seitlichen Lehnen funktioniert immer noch einwandfrei. Als Softwareentwickler, hatte ich schon eine Menge Stühle im Einsatz, und auch im Firmen-Büro hatte ich "Designer"-Stühle, die das 3fache gekostet haben und nach einem Jahr Nutzung kaum mehr zu gebrauchen waren. Um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich damals auch bei diesem Model mit einer Haltbarkeit von max. 2 Jahren gerechten. Und was soll ich nun sagen? Nach 5 Jahren intensiver Nutzung sieht der Stuhl immer noch aus, wie neu und wird mir vermutlich auch noch die kommenden 5 Jahre sehr gute Dienste leisten. Wer also eine sehr gute Investition tätigen möchte, ist bei diesem Stuhl genau richtig.
Das Bestellen und Liefern ging super schnell und einfach. Das Aufbauen war auch leicht. Ich habe nur leider erst dann gemerkt dass der Noblechair Icon für mich zu hoch ist. Ich bin 1,61m groß und bin bei der niedrigsten Stufe mit den Füßen nicht auf den Boden gekommen. Daher musste der schicke Stuhl leider wieder zurück geschickt werden. Sehr schade! Ich empfehle den Stuhl trotzdem allen die >1,61m groß sind.
